This feature allows the distribution of the config generation workload over several CPUs. Depending on the number of available CPU cores, it can drastically improve the time it takes to generate the configuration. The downside is that the system is a little bit more under stress during the config generation, which may affect the performance of the actual monitoring.Furthermore, since new processes are spawned, the RAM usage also increases during config generation. If you simply enable this feature without further adjustments, the config generation will use 75% of the available CPU cores. The option <tt>Limit maximum number of used CPUs</tt> allows you to set the number of CPUs explicitly. This maximum number is capped at the number of CPU cores or 12, whichever is lower.
