Some management controllers intermittently fail the central '/redfish/v1/Systems' request (e.g. HTTP 503 or 404). Without a retry the system-related services (CPUs, memory, storage, drives, volumes, network interfaces) would briefly disappear. The special agent retries this request and, if it still fails, aborts the run so the previously monitored data is kept instead of dropping those services. Setting the number of retries to 0 disables retrying (abort immediately).
